Halloween Races: Speed, Distance & Time

Lab Description

Students will calculate and compare the speeds of the crew members in the Halloween race using interactive worksheets, and write formulas to calculate speed, distance, and time using our interactive formula builder.

Storyline:

The Halloween Crew is going to take part in a race. Some of them can fly with a little helping hand from a magic broom, a wand, a magic candle, or even a vampire cape. Some of them prefer to just run really fast. Your goal is to calculate who is the fastest. To calculate who is the fastest, we can use the speed-distance-time formula. Hope you remember the speed-distance-time formula that you learned in your classroom. The crew members are Bat, Pumpkin, Raven, Vampire, Witch, Wizard, Ghost and Wolf.

This is a really engaging Physics and Math activity.
